We would like to hear from players who are interested in joining the Chichester Symphony Orchestra.  We currently have vacancies for violin, and viola players in particular.  We also encourage players of other instruments to contact us, as we sometimes call on deputies for rehearsals and concerts.

We value enthusiasm more than formal qualifications, but prospective players should have some knowledge of sight-reading and should be about Grade 7/8 level in order to play the standard orchestral repertoire.

Our rehearsals are held at Christchurch, Chichester, on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (except during school holidays.)  If you are interested in joining, please contact us, or come along to a rehearsal and make yourself known to our Conductor or Leader.

Subscriptions for members are currently £90 per annum (£30 per term) or £45 per annum (£15 per term) for members under 26..
